Undiluted, Unique
Tan Du Barrel Strength is a small batch boutique series of single malt Scotch whisky. Each batch is independently numbered, presenting the unique flavor characteristics of a single batch, and is fully matured in 100% Oloroso sherry barrels without cold filtration, showcasing its natural color. It is bottled at the original barrel strength of 56.8% abv, with a pure and rich taste. The aroma releases notes of oak, roasted nuts, and warm vanilla, presenting flavors of berry pudding and caramel custard, followed by a lingering aftertaste of candied orange peel and no residual fruit.
Additionally, barrel strength whisky refers to whisky that has not had a single drop of water added for dilution from the time it leaves the barrel until it is bottled. The characteristic of this type of whisky is its high alcohol content and pure, rich flavor, making it a premium drink suitable for connoisseurs of whisky.
