1. Overview

The VERTU CARE is a 1-year premium protection service designed to cover accidental screen damage for your VERTU smartphone.

It ensures fast, professional repair service for unexpected screen cracks or display damage caused by accidental drops or external impact.

2. Coverage Period

• Valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase
• Coverage applies only to accidental screen damage occurring within the active plan period

3. What’s Covered

This plan covers accidental screen damage, including:

• Cracked or shattered screen
• Display malfunction caused by impact or drop
• Unintentional external force damage affecting screen usability

Coverage applies only when screen functionality is impacted.

4. Repair Service Benefit (Important Update)

If your device experiences eligible screen damage during the coverage period:

• Screen repair or replacement is fully covered by VERTU
• No repair service fee will be charged

However, the customer is responsible for:

• Shipping / transportation costs (to and from service center)
• Applicable local taxes, customs duties, or import/export fees (if any)

5. Service Process

Depending on your location, service may be provided via:

• Mail-in repair service
• Carry-in (authorized service center drop-off)

VERTU will provide instructions for shipment and repair handling after service request approval.

6. What’s Not Covered

This plan does NOT cover:

• Loss or theft of device
• Non-screen cosmetic damage
• Water damage or full internal device failure
• Damage caused by unauthorized repair or modification
• Damage outside the 1-year coverage period

7. Customer Responsibilities

To receive service, customers must:

• Provide valid proof of purchase and device serial number
• Back up all data before sending device for repair
• Follow VERTU service instructions for shipping and handling
• Ensure device is eligible under active protection period

Data may be erased during repair service.

8. Plan Terms Summary

• Duration: 1 Year (12 months)
• Price: USD $799
• Repair cost: Fully covered (no service fee)
• Customer pays: Shipping + taxes + customs (if applicable)
• Claim limit: As defined by VERTU service policy (typically per incident basis)
