Your care

What is Medical Concierge?

Medical Concierge supports preparation and practical coordination for care in China. Clinical assessment, medical advice and treatment are provided by the relevant clinician or medical institution. Confirm the contracting provider and the proposed scope before booking.

Can I begin before I travel?

Yes. Every membership includes unlimited online health consultation in Chinese and care-pathway planning in Chinese or English; a personal digital health record for one person; one medical-record organisation and translation service; and one remote specialist consultation in Chinese or English each membership year.

Bring relevant reports, scans, care summaries, your current medicine list and the questions you would like to discuss. Confirm the clinician, language support and availability for your location before booking. Ask VERTU how to share medical records through an appropriate channel.

How are the next steps planned?

A proposed care pathway, expected timeframe and estimated costs help you review the available next steps before confirming arrangements. PLUS and Gold include one care plan and cost estimate per year; Platinum and Black Gold include two. Final medical charges are confirmed by the provider.

Can I choose a particular specialist?

The professional profiles describe supplied backgrounds. They do not establish current appointments, a contractual relationship with this service or availability for a booking. Your clinician and consultation arrangements are confirmed individually. No particular doctor, hospital bed, appointment or clinical outcome is guaranteed.

What support is available after a visit?

Remote follow-up offers a conversation about recovery, new reports, medication information and the next review. PLUS and Gold include one remote follow-up per membership year. Platinum and Black Gold include two.

Your visit

Which plans include hospital-visit support?

Hospital-registration coordination, examination coordination and medical escort begin with Platinum. Platinum and Black Gold each include two registration-coordination services, two examination-coordination services, two accompanied visits of up to four hours each, one multidisciplinary consultation and one airport-to-hotel pickup per year.

Black Gold also includes one major-surgery case-management service, one ICU or international-ward coordination service, seven days of ward care-worker support and one visa-extension assistance service. Care-worker support does not mean licensed nursing care.

PLUS and Gold do not include hospital-visit coordination. Appointments, examinations and beds depend on availability. Hospital, examination, treatment, surgery and ward charges are separate.

What is included in the Sanya stay?

Gold includes three days / two nights; Platinum seven days / six nights; Black Gold fifteen days / fourteen nights. Each of these plans also includes one TCM constitution and basic health assessment per membership year. PLUS does not include a Sanya stay.

Confirm dates, room type, meals, accompanying guests, on-site services and facility access in writing before booking. Specific treatments depend on an individual assessment and the provider’s arrangements; suitability and charges are confirmed separately. Photographs illustrate the facilities and do not guarantee a specific room or included service. Hospital and wellness accommodation are separate settings; your provider and location are confirmed individually.

How is language support arranged?

Online health consultation is in Chinese. Care-pathway planning and the annual remote specialist consultation list Chinese and English support. Confirm the language arrangements for your location and each appointment before booking.

Platinum and Black Gold list ten medical-interpreting hours per year. Before purchase, confirm in writing whether those hours are included in the membership fee and which hourly charges apply.

What does the annual fee cover?

The listed services and annual allowances for one person over twelve months. Allowances are annual totals. Membership is personal and non-transferable.

This is a service membership, not a treatment package. Hospital registration, examinations, treatment, medicines, surgery, ward charges and other third-party costs outside the stated benefits are separate. Request the written service scope and additional charges before purchase.

How do activation and service dates work?

Activation uses a unique virtual-card number. Before purchase, confirm the activation procedure, the 30-day waiting-period arrangements, your membership start and expiry dates, and the earliest date for each service in your written terms.

What does accident cover include?

Gold, Platinum and Black Gold list sixty days of accident cover, subject to insurer acceptance, eligibility and policy exclusions. Confirm the policy, covered benefits, start and end dates before purchase. This is not comprehensive medical insurance; do not assume it pays for planned medical treatment.

Can arrangements be changed or cancelled?

Request the cancellation and refund terms before purchase. Hospital, accommodation and other provider bookings may have separate conditions.

What should I share in an enquiry?

Share your general needs, country or region, preferred language and intended travel dates. Please do not include medical records or sensitive medical information in this form. Ask the receiving team how to share records through an appropriate channel.

This form securely records your general enquiry with VERTU client services using Mailchimp. Email and WhatsApp use VERTU’s general client-service channels; they do not create a booking, activate a membership or connect emergency medical care. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Membership and clinical services
Prices are annual service-membership fees in US dollars for one person. Actual medical and other third-party charges outside the stated benefits are separate. Clinical assessment, advice and treatment are the responsibility of the relevant clinician or medical institution. Confirm the contracting provider, written service scope, start dates, interpreting charges and applicable policy or booking terms before purchase.
